Ed The Saint Chart - Best Of 2013 (Posted December 2013)
1. !!! - Even When The Water's Cold
I'd never cared much for them, but this balanced the funkiness and the indie style with the dance elements with an excess of finesse.
2. Disclosure - White Noise
OK, it was always going to be overshadowed by Daft Punk etc. and it comes from a mixed album, but this is a fantastic tune.
3. Thief - Cold
My requisite pop tune of the year, though it's an early one for this artist, it's just got a fantastic chorus.
4. Everything Everything - Cough, Cough
Amazing stuff and whilst it got ignored (or seemed to) on release, it's still getting plays from me and good responses.
5. Teleman - Steam Train Girl
It would appear this lot may have a shot in 2014 at being what Pete and the Pirates should have. If this is any indication, let's hope so!

1. Dan Croll - In/Out
Briliant pop, nice geeky sheen to it.
2. The Aerial - Kick It Up
Indie dance that is actually danceable in 2012, it'll never catch on.
3. Alex Metric - Rave Weapon
Alex Metric continuing to make dance music with class and style.
4. Infadels - We Get Along
See The Aerial's comment. Danceable indie that doesn't sound too corporate.
5. Santigold - Dispirate Youth
Just an amazing song, laid back as it comes, but with teeth.

One of the best remixes since Soulwax were in their heyday.
2. Darwin Deez - Radar Detector
Ludicrously jump up and down record which won't leave me alone
3. Little Comets - One Night In October
Still loving this, the Vampire Weekend single that wasn't - but should have been.
4. Two Door Cinema Club - Something Good Can Work (Twelves Remix)
Awesome remix, this one. Just a fantastic reworking of a great song.
5. Soft Pack - Answer To Yourself
Nothing like a bit of low-slung guitar pop, eh lads.
