Singles

Autogift EP (Also Known as The Skin Single)
(Fiction) 1989
(12"/CDS)
WANTX100

1.Skin
2.Eat Eat Eat
3.Red Moon

All Good..but all on Sell Me A God.
So maybe nice as a sampler....

Plastic Bag EP
(12"/CDS) (Fiction)
  1/7/89 (CIFCD1)

1.Mr And Mrs Smack
2.Little Country
3.Baby Boom

The cd was thrown to the crowd on various gigs on the 1989 The Plastic Tour.
Also was thrown out at gigs and festivals for a couple of years later!
I got mine at Reading...early 90's.
Tracks wise the B-sides are..ok, the lead track a rather standard Eat number.

Tombstone
(7"/12") (Fiction)
1989 (FICSX32)

1.Tombstone (Video Mix)
2.Squat
3.Tombstone (Beyond The Groove Mix)

Hmmmm...these singles are all great songs, but they're on the album and B-sides are of minimal quality.

Summer In The City
1989 Fiction Records, Cifx2
7/12"

1.Summer In The City
2.Two Nations
3.Gyrate (Extended Jib Mix)

As with all early Eat singles, hmmm-ish b-sides make this a single for fans only, the lead track is on the album, Gyrate is barely any different from the LP version.

Psycho Couch
(12"/CDS/7") (Fiction)
1990 (YESX3P/YESCD3)

Side A 12"/1. Psycho Couch
Side B 12"/2. Alien Detector - Extended Mix
3. Psycho Couch - The Chaise Lounge Mix

Essential, and deeply odd.
Great, non album, single, the video was dead odd too...B-sides are even listenable..

Golden Egg
(Fiction)
(7"/CDS1/CDS2)
  1992 NFICSX38DJ/FICSX38/FICCD38

1. Golden Egg (Edit)
2. Belly Town
3.Streets Are Full
4.Double Bubble

Great song, worthwhile B-sides.
Vastly superior A-side to the version found on Epicure, Belly Town's great too.

Shame
(12"/CDS/7")
Fiction Records, FIXCD45, 1992

1.Shame
2.Knock Me Down
3.On The Road Again
4.Out Of Line

Great single, we love it. Better edit than the album version too!
Arguably the best Eat single...

Bleed Me White
Fiction  UK#73
(7"/12"/CDS1/CDS2)
 FICS48/FICCD48DJ 1993

CDS1: 1. Bleed Me White
2. Haddlyanndan
3. Ice Pond.
CD2: 1.Bleed Me White
2.How Does It Feel
3.Late Again

Again, great song, worthwhile B-sides.
The riff on Bleed Me White is fantastic.
